Circuit training: 30 minute total body workout

You may have noticed lately that I’ve been doing a lot of circuit training lately.

I slept in the morning and did some other stuff so that meant afternoon #workout. I did @toneitup #beachbarre and I'll go for a run when it's a little cooler. How are you getting active today? #fitfam #fitfluential #sweatpink #tiuteam #fitspo
Circuit training has become new favorite thing because this type of workout allows me to get a great workout in within a small amount of time. Circuit training combines strength/resistance training and cardio to build your strength and muscular endurance. The best thing about these workouts is they can be done at home too.

Each circuit is to be completed with minimal rest between each exercise and circuit. It’s a fast moving workout that will get your heart rate going. Be ready to sweat with these workouts.

Circuit training can be a little overwhelming when it comes to the possibilities. Trying to figure out what exercises to do and how many and the order the exercises should be completed in is a daunting task. But it is a workout you can cater to your own wants and needs including the exercises and the time to complete the entire workout.

I have a complete 30 minute circuit workout for you to try on your own. The only equipment you will need is a positive attitude, a stop watch/watch (or an interval timer) and some dumbbells.

30 Min Total Body Circuit Workout

Each exercise is to be completed for one minute before moving on to the next with minimal or no rest in between. There is a built-in one minute rest/water break into each circuit. Push through to this point and you’ll burn some major calories.

The warm up and cool down are an important part of any workout. Don’t skip this portion of the workout because it can make or break your sweat session. If you want to take the guess work out of a cool down session, try this video to make sure you are fully recovered from your workout.

I’ve done all the hard work for you so all you have to do is burn those calories!

Have you done a circuit workout before? If yes, do you like doing circuit training? If no, why haven’t you tried a circuit workout before?
