It’s been a very busy week.
It’s launch week at the gym so I’ve been teaching and trying to attend classes as much as possible.
It’s always exciting to get people excited about working out and trying some new stuff. It’s not exciting to not want to sit on bike by the week. Plus, I’ve been really busy with work. My mom had a knee replacement surgery during Thanksgiving but she hasn’t been cleared to drive so I also need to make sure she’s taken care of in the meantime. It’s just been a lot at one time.
And of course, I’ve been worried about my leg but I’ve been taking it easy. I’ve really laid off of running so I took my first run on the road on Wednesday and felt great. I even ran some negative splits which is what I needed to make sure I could handle Louisiana Marathon weekend.
Plus, I haven’t been really together since the year started. I haven’t been getting my calendar together and I haven’t really planned anything. Things have just been crazy. When I finally had time to sit down yesterday to work on the blog, I decided that I should take the time to really get organized. I’ve been wasting so much time looking for things around the house so I thought it was time to make a change. I’m sorry the blog had to take a back seat. I know I won’t be able to move forward with things like this until I just really get my shizz together.
I can say we have been meal prepping and really keeping things together in that realm. And obviously, you know I’ve been working out so I’m doing great there too. I’m proud to tell everyone that Willie has lost 21 pounds since he started his weight loss journey.
