Blah week but the workouts are in review.

I must be honest.  I haven’t been very motivated to workout this week.  It’s kind of like I’ve been going through the motions.  There have been some serious highlights but for the most part I’ve been stuck in the funk.  On Monday, I returned to my workout roots and had a great time.  It was nice to sit in a cycle class and not be teaching it.  I miss that so I think I need to make more time for that.

Now more than ever, I think I need a change up.  Just like I do the Sunday meal prep, I think I really need to sit down and plan out my workouts for the week.  I’m going to explore my options to see if I could just add ONE different workout into my routine a week.  I didn’t meet my goal of going to Centergy this week but I had good intentions.

Here are my workouts from this week:

Sunday: REST with a 2 mile walk with my dog.

Monday: 5AM Group Power and afternoon cycle

Tuesday: Taught 5AM cycle, evening 3 mile run, taught 30 minute cycle

Wednesday: 5AM Group Power and 6 mile run

Thursday: Taught 5AM Group Ride

Friday: Taught 5AM cycle, ab workout and power leg workout

Saturday: REST DAY

My goals for next week: CENTERGY at least once next week and hopefully I’ll be working in a swim session.

It may just be the week though because nothing has really excited me this week.  The weather hasn’t been the best and I really think that messed with my mood.  I like being outside and this week, that just wasn’t possible. It’s just been blah but I made it through to the end.  I’m looking forward to spending time with Willie this weekend and having a good time.  We will be going to the balloon festival and running a half marathon on Sunday!  It’s going to be fun.  Hopefully, I’ll be able to go in a hot air balloon because I’ve never done that before. Only one problem, I kind of have a fear of heights.  I’m willing to look past it though for a new experience!
