Nothing is impossible

It’s been said that Willie and I accomplished the impossible by losing so much weight and working hard to keep it off. I never saw it was something as impossible. I never saw it as something that we couldn’t accomplish in time. I never saw it as something that we couldn’t achieve.

Nothing is impossible. Some things may take extra steps for achievement or may take longer than we may like, but you will still get there. Think of it as a ladder, you start at the bottom and work your way to the top one step at a time.

I know you’re thinking it’s easier said than done, right?  That’s why everything starts with a plan.  If you’re looking to lose weight, start a new career path or even start a new hobby, make a plan and start from there.

That is what we did when we started losing weight.  The thing I felt was necessary was to cut out all of things I thought I couldn’t handle in moderation.  That’s why soft drinks, juice, cheese and fried foods exited the diet right away.  After awhile, I didn’t yearn for those things.  I didn’t want to eat those things and I started to like other things so much more.

When I started running, I knew it was important for me to stay consistent with my running so I ran 3 miles four times a week.  The next thing I knew, I was running more efficiently and I was able to run longer and longer.  It took time, but I finally got to a place where I was doing things I never thought I would do.

The point that you can do anything if you try and just keep going.  It will take time but results will come if you give the plan an honest chance to work.  Don’t give up and stay with it.

Nothing is impossible. I’ve lost over 100 lbs over the past 3 years, and i have kept it off. It is a journey, but if you take it day by day, you will get there. Make small changes to your habit and be patient, stay concistent, and know that losing all that weight thats taken you years to put on wont come off in just a few weeks. I share my story here along with some tips to help people out: http://mealprepweightloss.com/my-weight-loss-story/
